SUSHI MAKING AT TIFFANY'S HOUSE

disasterous experience i tell you.

it was such an adventurous day lah!

firstly,

we met to have breakfast/ lunch at subway.

after that,

we went to the supermarket to get the ingredients.

searched for crabstick, tuna, vinegar, and frozen prawns.

we managed to get all of the ingredients except the frozen prawns.

and we were walking everywhere to find them.

eventually,

she called her mummy.

her mummy said it was in some ice-box thing.

so we split up to search for the ice box.

in the end,

both of us asked the staff there at the same time.

and we went to search for each other.

it's seriously damn funny lah.

when we found each other,

we both said:

"the person said it's at the back"

and we both pointed to the same direction.

hahaha!

really very funny lah.

and great.

when we found the prawns,

i realised that i saw it previously.

okay.

i'm sad case, i know.

LOL

went to queue up to pay,

and i think we look so blur and so lost,

that a very kind aunty tried to help us.

HAHA

i think we look like goons lah!

anyway,

paid for the stuff,

and cabbed to her home.

started by soaking the rice,

then we boiled the crabstick and prawns.

we're not very sure whether it's cooked anot.

but yah,

just anyhow lor.

about 20mins later,

we cooked the rice.

then,

we played a clarinet and piano duet.

nice (:

then,

the disasters started to come.

we wanted to fry an egg.

somehow,

i'm not sure what happened.

when the stove was turned on,

but there was a BOOM sound,

and the fire was DAMN HUGE.

really!

it was in front of me lah

luckily i wore my cardigan,

or else i think my hand would have caught fire.

hahaha

i think we nearly died lor.

and both of us were like:

AHH!

and quickly ran far away

after awhile,

we made sure we're safe,

and used another stove to fry the egg.

while frying,

there were bubbles of water coming out from the rice cooker!

we were like:

AHH!

hahahaha!

then we opened the cooker,

and realised that the rice turned into porridge.

so,

we had to recook the rice.

anyway,

after cooking the second batch of rice,

we realised that we forgot to soak it.

but who cares.

so we just ignored.

and finally,

the rice is cooked,

we added vinegar in bit by bit.

we kept tasting it to see if it's okay.

in the end,

we're so fed up,

we just poured alot inside.

so we have:

rice

fried egg.

this thing nearly caused our lives.

the frozen prawn.
we spent a long time looking for it at the supermarket.

and we started!

if you're thinking where did the tuna we bought went,

well,

we totally forgot about it.

seriously both of us are sad case.

hahahaha

and we started!

seaweed,

rice,

egg,

and then a few prawns.

so we rolled and rolled and rolled,

and guess what happened?

the seaweed wasn't big enough?

or the ingredients were too much.

anyway,

it's okay!

just a first attempt right?

so,

we tried again.

and i squeezed with all my might.

guess what?

YAY!

nice nice?

nice right!

finally lor.

we heaved a sigh of relief!

and time seemed to pass so quickly,

that after awhile,

we realised that we're VERY late.

so we're panicking and screaming and squealing.

reason being,

1) the sushi isn't firm!

and the rice kept falling off.

2) the egg was super oily,

and the seaweed wouldn't stick!

3) we're running out of rice!

4)the rice were stuck to our fingers,

and it's DAMN irritating!

5) rice was EVERYWHERE

including the floor!

6)the whole place was in a terrible mess

if they had seen the process,

they probably wouldn't even take a bite!

in the end,

we couldn't finish doing,

so we just dumped all the prawns into the containers.

:P

together with the nicer looking sushi(s)

the horrible and ugly ones were left at her house

yupp.

so this is how it looked like!

we were in a terrible rush,

and we cabbed to dover.

she was on her way to woodlands,

while i'm going to school.

i'm suppose to meet ben to pass him a book,

which he borrowed from tiffany.

on the cab,

tiffany: SHIT! we forgot about the book!

me: huh? what book?

tiffany: -.- the hanon book for benjamin!

me: oh shit! how how how?

tiffany: that was the main purpose of you going to school lah!

me: oh manns. shit lah!

*silence for a moment*

and we burst out laughing,

and we're laughing at our dumbness for the day.

thinking about it,

it's really damn funny.

especially when the stove nearly exploded,

and the rice turning into porridge.

reached school,

and told him i forgot about the book.

luckily he didn't say i stupid

took 61 to bukit batok,

then don't know why,

we ended up at woodlands.

went to the mac,

and he ate the sushi.

and the funny thing is,

he took a bite,

and the ingredients started to fall off!

especially the rice!

seriously very funny lah.

looks like it's snowing

anyway,

the bus interchange at woodlands is like,

underground?

gosh.

i think i'm like some dumb dumb

no wonder he kept telling me ridiculous things,

and i believe it most of the time.

in conclusion,

sushi making is fun!
